CHOOSE THE CORRECT FOUNDATION

Hello everyone,


A foundation even outs the skin tone and covers skin flaws such as blemishes, dark spots, dullness, uneven skintone etc.
Foundation should match to your skin tone, it should neither be lighter otherwise you'll look like a ghost nor darker. It works as a makeup base. To find your perfect match, just matching the color to your skintone is not enough, you got to choose one according to you skin type.
There are many types of foundations out there but you should choose the one which compliments your skin type.

Types of foundations 

Liquid foundation

Coverage: These are the most versatile. You can have sheer or full, any coverage you want.
Skin type: It is for all skin types. 

Tinted moisturizer 
Coverage: Sheer and lightweight.
Skin type: It is best for normal to dry skins and for those who have clear skin and / or don't like heavy weight makeup base.

Cream and sticks



Coverage: Full 
Skin typet: Normal to dry skin. You can get medium coverage too, depends how quantity you apply.

Mousse

Coverage: Sheer to medium. Lightweight in texture and blends nicely.
Skin type: Normal to dry skin. 

Cream to powder 
Coverage: Sheer to medium. It gives more coverage then tinted moisturizers and less than cream or sticks.
Skin type: combination skin

Mineral powder/loose powder

Coverage: Can be build easily sheer, medium or full
Skin type: Oily skins

BB creams
BB creams & CC creams are entirely different from all the above items and it is new edition in the list. But they are also used as makeup base.
Coverage: Sheer
Skin type: For all skin types
