DIY - INDIAN CONVENTIONAL UBTAN

Hi all,

We have a tradition in India, the day before Laxmipujan is called Roop Chaudas, we take bath from conventional ubtan. The day after tomorrow is Roop Chaudas, and according to our tradition every family member, male or female, will take bath from this ubtan.

It is skin whitening, exfoliating ubtan. It is also a great way to remove unwanted facial and body hair.

You need

  • 3/4 bowl wheat flour
  • 1/4 bowl gram flour
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 lemon
  • Milk to mix
  • 2 tbs almond oil
  • A pinch of saffron
  • A pinch turmeric
Mix all the ingredients with milk. Check the consistency, it should be easily spreadable paste. Apply it all over the body and face. Leave it for sometime. When it is half dried, start massaging. Keep massaging till all the ubtan comes out. You will notice that its color has become black and darker. That's because it removes all the dirt.

I hope you like it.

Good luck

P.S. If you are going out in sun, don't mix turmeric into it because applying turmeric and going out in sun will darken your skin color instead of whitening.
